LinkedIn Premium Company Pages to Enhance Your Marketing

Are you trying to get more out of your LinkedIn company page? Are you wondering if LinkedIn's new premium features are worth the investment?

In this article, you'll discover six premium features of LinkedIn for company pages and learn whether they're worth the investment for your business.

The new premium features aim to help businesses increase visibility, demonstrate credibility, and grow their follower base more effectively.

Pricing starts at $99.99 per month or $69.99 if paid annually.

The value of LinkedIn Premium Company Pages varies significantly based on your business size, budget, and goals. To test the ROI for your business, take advantage of the 30-day free trial to evaluate these features.

#1: Custom CTA Button

LinkedIn's premium pages now offer a prominent call-to-action button at the top of your company page. This feature was previously free but has been moved to the premium tier. While some may view this as a downgrade of the free plan, the strategic placement could make it worthwhile for businesses focused on driving specific actions.

The button appears at the top of the page for maximum visibility. It lets you link off-platform with pre-configured CTAs including visit website, visit store, subscribe to newsletter, contact us, and visit portfolio.

#2: Custom Highlights Section

The custom highlights feature lets businesses showcase achievements and credentials directly on their company page. While the display size is somewhat limited, this feature provides a mechanism for social proof that wasn't previously available on company pages.

You can add text descriptions, include URLs for verification, and upload supporting images.

Use this tool to highlight what makes your business different by showcasing awards, certificates, and recognition or displaying media mentions and notable achievements.

#3: Page Visitor Insights

This feature allows page administrators to see who has visited their company page but comes with significant limitations. While promising in concept, it currently provides limited practical value due to these restrictions. For example, you can view only one visitor per day.

Most importantly, your page visitor must opt-in to share their visit, and if they opt out, that action applies to all company pages unless manually changed in settings.

#4: AI-Powered Post Creation

LinkedIn now offers built-in AI assistance for drafting basic company page posts, but the tool provides minimal customization options.

Other generative AI tools currently provide better results, though this feature may improve over time.

#5: Custom Testimonials

The custom testimonial feature lets your business prominently showcase social proof on its company page.

The testimonial is shown at the top of your page. You are limited to 250 characters but can include images.

While the self-input nature of testimonials might raise authenticity concerns, the prominent placement and ability to showcase key endorsements make it a valuable feature for many businesses.

#6: Auto-Invites for Follower Growth

The auto-invite feature is potentially the most valuable premium feature, automatically inviting engaged visitors to follow your page.

When activated, the tool automatically identifies users who engage with your content but don't follow your page.

This feature is expected to integrate with personal profile engagement soon and extend automatic invites to the company page for users who engage with page admins' personal content.

Today's advice is provided with insights from Michelle J. Raymond, a featured guest on the Social Media Marketing Podcast.

Big Tech to Pay Australian Media Outlets: The country's government plans to require major tech companies to pay Australian media outlets for news content hosted on their platforms. The initiative will target tech companies that generate over A$250 million in local revenue, including major platforms like Meta (Facebook's parent company) and Google. Companies that fail to reach voluntary agreements with news media businesses will face mandatory charges, creating a financial incentive for tech platforms to negotiate directly with news organizations. Assistant Treasurer Stephen Jones emphasized that these charges can be offset through voluntary commercial agreements between platforms and news media businesses. Source: Reuters

Facebook Login for Business Eligibility Expands: The solution offers customizable onboarding experiences and enhanced control over login processes to meet specific client needs. The system reduces the need for ongoing compliance reviews while protecting sensitive customer data. Interested Tech Providers can visit the new Facebook Login for Business web page to learn more about the benefits and capabilities; if they do not see the opt-in banner for Facebook Login for Business in the app dashboard, their app is currently not eligible for this feature. Consumer Video Consumption Research from Snap: Video consumption habits are shifting significantly across global markets, with small screens (mobile) now dominating viewer attention. According to a comprehensive study by Snapchat, Dentsu, and Kantar spanning eight markets and over 9,000 participants aged 13-49, 67% of consumers watch videos on small screens daily, compared to 50% on big screens (TV). The report offers insights into viewer motivations by screen size, the impact of dual-screen advertising, and more. Source: Snap

Threads' Follow Lists: Instagram's Threads platform is testing a new feature in the U.S. that suggests curated collections of multiple profiles for users to follow. The test begins with a small group of community members creating these custom feeds, while all U.S. Threads users can view and follow the suggested profiles within these collections. Tumblr Launches Communities: The feature is available globally across web, iOS, and Android platforms, following a beta testing period. It allows users to create private Communities (invite-only for mutual followers) and public Communities (open to all) centered around shared interests. Communities have high member capacity limits to facilitate connections between users with shared interests and obsessions. Source: Tumblr
