I've looked at hundreds of OptinMonster accounts over the years, and this is the single most common missed opportunity I see: showing the same campaign to everyone, everywhere.

 

Your homepage visitor is browsing. Your blog reader is learning. Your checkout visitor is buying. They're in completely different mindsets, but most sites show them identical popups.

 

The fix is simpler than you think. Match your offer to the page someone's on: 

 
  • Blog post about freelancing? Show a freelance guide. 

  • Product page? Show a demo. 

  • Pricing page? Show a discount.
