Searchable Shorts on YouTube
After rolling out the Shorts shelf for channels and announcing that viewers who watch a channel's Shorts will now see long-form video from that same channel in recommended content, YouTube is putting more weight behind its Shorts format.
The platform has added a Shorts chip to its search in order to allow users to see results specific to the short-form video format.
To search Shorts-only results, search a term and then tap the Shorts chip under the search box.
The feature is fully launched in the app for all iOS and Android users.
